David Ball on Damages: The Essential Update, A Plaintiff’s Attorney’s Guide for Personal Injury and Wrongful Death Cases Review
I have been at attorney for 12 years, and doing Plaintiff’s personal injury work for the last 5. The hardest (or at least most uncomfortable) aspect of personal injury trials is reducing my clients’ pain and suffering into first, understandable terms for the jury, and second, into a dollar figure. This book is an excellent help in those regards. It helps you develop analogies and examples to help convey your clients’ general damages. I absolutely recommend it.

A must-have for civil cases! – Katherine S. Sweeney – Kansas City, MO
This was my husband’s “Bible” for a recent wrongful death case. Extremely helpful and instructional; worth every penny we paid for it.
Not the end all but some good ideas – Anthony D Castelli –
I think this book could have been written in half the pages and be 1/4 of the price. he has some good ideas and gives concrete examples . but there is no evidence his stuff works any better than being yourself and asking the jury for information instead of indoctrination.
